One-on-One with Ruby: A Journey of Trust and Love
Hello everyone!
I’m Keiko, a Soul Level Animal Communicator®.
This is Ruby.
I’ve written about her before, so some of you may already know her. I’m the one working hard for her, yet she LOVES my husband. He can do no wrong in her eyes.
I’ve installed a cat door so my kitties can go wherever they please—except for one room. This is a storage room, where we keep the freezer, produce from the garden that I grow, and non-perishable food that I’ll use in the winter. There are also kitty treats, catnip, and all sorts of goodies in there.
Because the door to this room is always closed, and my kitties know the good stuff is inside, they’re always eager to get in.
One day, they were running around playing in the house. But it got to be too much for little Ruby. I’ve noticed that boys and girls behave differently. Strength is different too—Pixie, my youngest male kitty, is twice as big as Ruby.
I know they were just playing, but Ruby started growling at Pixie. I felt sorry for her. It seemed like she needed some R&R, so I led her to the storage room and closed the door behind us. Just the two of us in the room.
I’m sure she felt relieved to be away from the other kitties, though I’m not sure she was too impressed with me!
I wanted her to feel comfortable, so I played with her using a toy I made from a small branch and some feathers. When I play with all the kitties together, Ruby can’t always keep up. So, it seems she enjoys playing one-on-one with me.
After she got tired, I made a cozy spot for her and gave her some dried catnip from the plant that I grow. She loves it so much. With a bit more relaxation, I brushed her gently. She was in heaven.
Since I’ve been doing this for her, Ruby has started doing things she never did before. She’s been coming around me more often.
She wants to go into that storage room so badly that she waits in front of the door several times a day.
If I’m busy doing something else, I can feel her eyes beaming at me.
She controls my life.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way if you live with cats!
Love and Peace
Keiko
