I have been noticing a weird thing lately.

I currently live with three cats.

In the past, several cats that I lived with have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

This is Ruby.

She is 3 years old.

Recently, I have noticed that when I call her name,

I’m calling her Uriel instead.

Uriel

Uriel is the cat I used to live with.

Her appearance is completely different from Ruby.

I was talking to Ruby out loud, but calling her Uriel instead.

I don't even know why I call her Uri, and why I started calling her Uriel after living with her for more than 2 years.

I don't call other cats by the name of a cat that lived here before.

It's true that Uriel loved (and still loves) Hubby more than me.

I feel that her attitude towards me and the way she treated me was similar to Ruby.

I'm sure a piece of Uriel's soul is inside Ruby.

Ruby must have taken the baton from Uriel,

and teaching me the same lesson as Uriel did.
