How do you communicate with your guides?
Hi. Everyone.
I’m Keiko. I’m a Soul Level Animal Communicator®.
Those of you who read my blog probably already know that we have a team of guides. Yes, that's right. You don't have just one guide; a team of guides, uniquely composed just for you, is there to help you.
During my sessions, I always ask for help from my guides.
When I need help, they provide me with inspiration in various ways.
However, I wanted to become closer to my guides.
I don't particularly enjoy meditating, but I thought meditation might be the quickest way, so I decided to sit for about five minutes.
Sometimes I can see things with my physical eyes, but I am not a complete clairvoyant. Instead, I think my strength lies more in clairsentience (feeling).
For some reason, I had a strong desire to see my guides and know what kind of souls they were. I was focusing too much on SEEING.
I continued this practice for about three days, but I didn’t see or feel anything and began to fall into a bit of self-loathing. I realized that the ego within me was saying, "I've come this far, so I should be able to see them."
On the verge of giving up after three days, a song started playing in my head the next day.
It was this song from 1985: "Don't You (Forget About Me)."
From the title, you can already guess.
My guides really have a great sense of humor.
The lyrics were like this.
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Ooh, woah
Won't you come see about me?
I'll be alone, dancing, you know it, baby
Tell me your troubles and doubts
Giving everything inside and out and
Love's strange, so real in the dark
Think of the tender things that we were working on
Slow change may pull us apart
When the light gets into your heart, baby
Don't you, forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you, forget about me
Will you stand above me?
Look my way, never love me
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling
Down, down, down
Will you recognize me?
Call my name or walk on by
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling
Down, down, down, down
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Ooh, woah
Don't you try and pretend
It's my feeling we'll win in the end
I won't harm you or touch your defenses
Vanity and security, ah
Don't you forget about me
I'll be alone, dancing, you know it, baby
Going to take you apart
I'll put us back together at heart, baby
Don't you, forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you, forget about me
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
When you walk away
Or will you walk away?
Will you walk on by?
Come on, call my name
Will you call my name?
I say
La, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
When you walk on by
And you call my name
When you walk on by
By the way, I found a YouTube video with the lyrics, so I'll include it here. Some of you might have heard it before.
If you ever find yourself with a song suddenly playing in your head, or hear one upon waking up in the morning, try looking up the lyrics.
There might be a resonant message hidden within them.
Later, I realized that simply sitting with my eyes closed in a room isn't the only form of meditation, sunbathing in the backyard while looking at the mountains is actually my form of meditation.
Don’t get caught up in specific forms; find a method that suits you, and definitely try to connect with your guides.
Love and Peace
Keiko
