A wild encounter
Hi. Everyone. I'm Keiko. I'm a soul level animal communicator®.
Some of you may know I live in the mountains. There is a Chinese restaurant that I go to once in a while. It is about a 20 minute drive through the mountains.
On the way back home, I noticed something is on the concrete traffic barriers on the side of the road.
It looked like some small animals were sunning to me.
It is called a "woodchuck" or "marmot."
I've been living here for more than 15 years and didn't know about them. Of course, I've never seen them when I was in Japan.
It is about the size of a cat, but it has a face like a Squirrel.
My husband turned around so that we could take a closer look. The shy one hid behind the cement barrier and was peeking from there. It was so cute.
But the one who was probably the leader was minding own business. When I talked to him, he looked at me and was surprised. I guess not too many people could communicate to him.
I saw a total of 8 marmots that day.
While I was looking for marmots on the side of the road,
I also saw a black bear!!
He was hunched over, about 2 meters away. Our eyes were met, but thankfully I was in the moving vehicle.
It was a wild encounter.
