Classic rock and old memories

I went out the other day, and on the way back home, my husband and I were listening to the radio in the car.

I recognized one of the songs that I heard before when I was living in Japan.

At that time, I wasn't interested in western music (North American). When I heard this music, I remember it was hard living in Japan, but I was happy even excited then because I knew what I wanted to do with my life,

When I listen to music, I don't pay attention to lyrics, I enjoy listening to the sound of the music. So, I didn't know who was singing this song. But when I heard this song, I was remembering the time of my life in Japan and said to my husband, I know this song, this was on a lot when I was living in Japan. He said this band is very famous, they have several hit songs. He said they are famous but he couldn't remember the name of the band nor the title of the song, and then the next song came on the radio, so we couldn't even remember what song it was.

We tried to remember this song counting on my husband's memory but it was to no avail. So, I give up searching with his method, instead, because of the radio station that we were listening to was classic rock, I started to listen to the internet radio on classic rock. Then soon enough, that song came on.

Finally, I found out the name of the band, so I looked it up. There were other songs that I knew sung by the same band. They are still going, and very famous band.
